Celeb Designers: Stella McCartney makes flattering clothes for all women.

Not many of you have missed the fact that celebs love Stella McCartney. Not only is her father Paul McCartney but her friendships with stars like Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow must make getting her designs seen on the red carpet a lot easier- but I'm sure she doesn't need the help. Her fashions are always unique and yet not designed so that only stick-thin models will look good in them.

Below, Courtney Cox and Jessica Biel sport her cutting-edge casual clothes. While Scarlett Johansson and Kate Bosworth wear McCartney's party-ready frocks.

You can buy Stella's looks on Net a Porter, like this Panther T-Shirt worn by Courtney Cox and these perfect skinny jeans.

Or, this Stella McCartney Striped Strapless Dress for a look like Jessica Biel's -

Also check out Yoox.com for discounted Stella McCartney fashions.

Celeb Designers: The stars know they can't go wrong with Calvin Klein.

When celebs don't feel like being criticized for their fashion choices, they invariably wear Calvin Klein. His designs may be the safe choice, but there is a simple and good reason for this - he makes clothing that is simple and elegant, refined and always classy. Below, Lindsay Lohan and Scarlett Johansson wear Calvin's latest look. Jennifer Aniston is also a huge fan of Calvin Klein

You can buy Calvin Klein from Net a Porter, I especially like this Viado Pleated Dress, similar to Scarlett's.

Celeb Designer: This season, it’s all about Marc Jacobs handbags.

This season, Marc Jacobs purses has replaced the classic Louis Vuitton as the celeb must-have bag. These bags are oversized and luxurious, something the stars love. Below, Jessica Simpson, Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie make their choices among the many designs to choose from.

Want to get your own? They are expensive, but well worth it. Check out the Marc Jacobs Collection at Net a Porter (especially the New Season stuff) and at eluxury.com. Hurry, they are selling fast. Mischa Barton’s black Marc Jacobs bag is already sold out (but you can still get it in white, see below)!

Jessica Simpson sports the Marc Jacobs Brigitte handbag, available at Net a Porter and eluxury.

Lindsay Lohan chose the classic Marc Jacobs Blake design in beige. You can get this bag from Net a Porter (in green) or from eluxury (in metallic, as shown).

Mischa Barton carries her Marc Jacobs Venetia handbag everywhere- you can no longer get the black one online but I like the white one better, available at eluxury.

Nicole Richie likes the perforated look, choosing a Marc Jacobs Leather Flap Bag, which you can get at eluxury.com in white.

Celeb Shoe Designer: Everyone's gotta have those Christian Louboutin heels.

December 8, 2005
by Breezy @ 3:17 pm in Celeb Designers

Forget about Manolo Blahnik’s, the real name in celebrity footwear these days is Christian Louboutin. Although Louboutin does create some flat looks- he sticks to the motto higher is better, with a wide range of platform heels. Louboutin is known for elegant black pumps and lately he has been creating fabulous velvet masterpieces that every celeb’s just gotta have. Below are just five of the celebs to sport Louboutin heels lately. As you can see, his designs are very diverse.

How can you tell if they’re a Louboutin? The red sole, of course.

If you want to get [http://www.net-a-porter.com/Shop/Christian-Louboutin?59867]Christian Louboutin's[/url] you can head over to Net a Porter, where they have these celeb-worthy styles that I just love:

The Biba Velvet and Satin Louboutin Pumps ($607)

Above, Renee Zellweger also wears velvet Louboutin's in forest green.

The Agathe Louboutin Pumps ($521)

Above, Sienna Miller wears the same style Louboutin pumps in white. I prefer them in black because you can wear them with everything (and they won't get scuffed as easily), allowing you to better justify that hefty price tag.

Don't get too discouraged if you can't afford full price Louboutin's. You can get plenty for up to 60% if you shop through Amazon. Here are some of my favorites on sale:

The Velvelluto Black Velvet Louboutin Sandals ($297, reg. $495)

The Louboutin Mrs. Page pumps

($375, reg. $625)

Are these not the most adorable heels ever?

Celeb Designer: Juicy Couture delivers laid-back fashion.

by Breezy @ 3:00 pm in Celeb Designers

It seems that every time you see a celeb out running errands, they are wearing a Juicy Couture track suit. Why? Because they know that Juicy will keep them looking sexy even when all they want is comfort. Think of it as sweat pants for the chic. But hoodies and t-shirts aren't the only fashions made by Juicy Couture. Juicy is branching out and offering comfortable styles suitable even for a night out!

Below, Britney Spears is wearing a Juicy Couture Velour Hoodie
in red. You can find the same hoodie for sale online at eluxury.com for $88.00.

Juicy is also being seen on the big screen! Cameron Diaz's character in In Her Shoes wears Juicy Couture throughout the film. Below, she is wearing a Terry Cloth Hoodie in Seagrass.

She also wears Juicy for a night out. Below, Cameron's character is wearing a Cashmere Ruffle Tie Sweatericon that you can also find at eluxury.com for $210, not bad for cashmere.

Celeb Designer: Roland Mouret makes clothes with ladylike charm.

October 22, 2005
by Breezy @ 2:23 pm in Celeb Designers

A hot look for Fall 2005, in case you haven't noticed yet, is ladylike dresses and skirts that look similar to what was worn in the 30's and 40's. Below is a picture of Rachel Weisz wearing one of the hottest designers of this look, Roland Mouret. Also, Angelina Jolie looks beautiful in a hot color for this look, grey, as designed by Roland Mouret.

This look is figure-hugging and very sexy on all body-types (especially those with an hourglass figure).

Can't wait to get your own Roland Mouret frock? Net a Porter sells a wide range of the designer's looks. I especially like this Acacia Wool and Cashmere Blend Dress, which will give you a look like Angelina Jolie's:

Christine Taylor, above, looks great in this dress.

Or the Hawaiite Jersey Dress (below, right), which is similar to the one worn by Sienna Miller (Nicole Kidman has been spotted in the same dress), you can find it for sale at Net a Porter as well.

Celeb fashion designer: Zac Posen delivers a unique take on elegance.

October 9, 2005
by Breezy @ 9:55 pm in Celeb Designers

We all know that every celeb has his or her favourite fashion designers. They know that the clothes they make look fabulous on them so they keep coming back again and again.

I suggest that you find your own favourite designer. Shop around and find out whose clothes fit and flatter you the best. And, since nothing is perfect, make sure you have more then one.

Zac Posen is a favourite of many top name celebs, particularly Claire Danes. In fact, you will rarely see her in anything else. For example, below she is wearing a dress from Posen's Spring 2006 runway show. You can get the same look Net-a-Porter with the Zac Posen Mariposa Silk Top.

Zac Posen has also created this beautiful billowy top below, a major trend right now. It is very similar to the Posen dress worn by Jennifer Lopez at the premiere of Monster in Law. You can also find this Zac Posen Gypsy Night Silk Blouse at Net a Porter.
