Celeb Inspiration: Ziyi Zhang in a dress to float away in.

There is only one word to describe this layered tulle dressed worn by Ziyi Zhang (aka Zhang Ziyi), romantic. In it, I would feel like Cinderella just before the clock strikes twelve.

It makes me wonder why we have kept tulle hidden away beneath our skirts for so long. Bringing this fabric to the forefront gives Ziyi's gown a frothy, floaty quality. She seems like a vision from a dream.

Although I will wish upon many stars for this Oscar de la Renta gown Ziyi Zhang is wearing, I must admit I would have nowhere to wear it. I think I would be happier with the Anna Sui Glitter Tulle Dress (below), which you can purchase from Net a Porter.



I would match it with a tiny silver Whiting & Davis Crystal Mesh Minaudiere (shown above), just like Ziyi Zhang.
