Celeb Styles: Leggings - the good, the bad and the just plain wrong.

Leggings have quickly become a must-have for the winter season, thanks to celebs like Sienna Miller and Molly Sims who really know how to make the trend look good. However, there is always a celebrity or two that really make you think twice (see Madonna, below)!
Follow a few rules for wearing these cute little stretchy-pants and you will always look like the celeb you are:
- Make sure your leggings reach to at least mid-calf (in my opinion, longer is better).
- Never, ever wear leggings with a short top, cover your butt!
- Don't wear your leggings with a long dress, leggings should be worn under something short to show them off.
- For shoes almost anything goes- tall boots, high heels or flats (see below).
- Black is the best color for this look (although other dark colors, like brown, will work too).
The Good
These celebs really know how to wear the leggings trend for fall, and it just goes to show you can wear them with boots, heels or flats!
The Bad
Denim overload and jellie-flats make Scarlett's look bad. And please dont just throw a T-shirt over too-short leggings like Nicky Hilton.
The Just Plain Wrong
Jessica Alba's sheer leggings just don't work.
Okay, what is Madonna thinking lately??? Is she trying (and failing miserably) to be a fashion pioneer? She is doing everything wrong here- her dress is too long and her leggings are way too short.
Where to find these little leg warmers? You can get a truly celeb-worthy pair by Falke ($160), available at Net a Porter. Or, try DANSKIN.com

It’s time that we ALL wear leggings. Choose a well made pair - not with cotton fibers that bag out over time but a high tech fiber that retains it shape. Get over the body image constraints and just wear them. Go for the comfort and support. Leggings that go to the ankle have a greater positive visual aesthetic than capri style that chop the leg. Plus the full length leggings support you from your ankle to your waist and give you an energetic lift. Laugh, Live, Love & Enjoy! Check out www.UnJeans.com
