Celeb Styles: The stars are still shimmering in metallics.

We all know shimmery fabrics have been in style for quite a while now, and I'm happy to say that the look is continuing into the Fall. Below, Cate Blanchett (in Ralph Lauren), Christy Brinkley (in Jenny Packham) and Halle Berry (in Elie Saab), show off some great metallic dresses while Emmy Rossum, Jennifer Garner and Sophia Bush opt for shimmery accessories.

Here are some of my favorite choices for metallic clothing, shoes and bags-

For a special event, the Calvin Klein Ramses Cocktail Dress ($2,475) is gorgeous. Or, if you want something affordable, I like the Tibi Metallic Lace Dress.



For something understated, I love the Lela Rose Metallic Tweed Shift Dress ($895) or a simple Munthe Plus Simonsen Karen Satin Tunic ($280).



As far as evening bags go, a simple clutch will go with everything. I like the Rodo Dinah Suede Clutch ($495).



Metallic shoes can be worn day or night, my favorite looks (respectively) are the Marc Jacobs Round Toe Flats and the Calvin Klein Rachel Shoes ($93.95).
