The Celeb Life is back after an extra long hiatus and I hope you all have missed the daily posts and are excited by its return! I am really looking forward to it, as I think I have learned a thing or two since my last post back in January.
Let’s start out with the well-known fact that celebrities do not always get it right (see exhibit A, Britney Spears, shown below). In our quest to live our life as the stars we are, we should develop our own style.
However, this is not to say that there isn’t something to be gained by borrowing a few ideas from a favorite celebrity. After all, your favorite celeb says a lot about who you are. For instance, if you like Drew Barrymore you probably are somewhat of a free spirit and enjoy hippie-inspired looks. Not to mention the fact that most of these stars enjoy the luxury of having their very own stylist. By copying their looks we get some of the benefits a stylist offers without the cost.
For these reasons I will continue to feature a new celebrity each day that has an inspirational look to steal….
Today I happened across these two pictures of Mischa Barton and Kate Hudson wearing the ultimate summer look, a simple white dress. Of course you can manage to make a great dress look bad, as Britney proved above. However, if you keep the look natural with simple hair, makeup and a pair of earthy sandals you can’t go wrong.
